Moves, Springs, and Categories
Move presets are the source of fast routine building: each move carries a category, default duration, default springs, optional difficulty-specific springs, split-side preference, and teaching notes.
- Cleaning up move presets before building routines
- Making spring notes consistent
- Using studio shared moves without duplicates
What a move preset includes
A move preset includes name, category, default duration, springs, optional beginner/intermediate/advanced spring options, split-side preference, position, movement notes, and variations.
When you add a move to a routine, Reform Cue uses the routine difficulty to choose the best spring setup when one is available.
Category folders
The Moves tab can show all moves or category folders. Categories have their own color and symbol, and those colors feed routine interval colors when a move is added.
Search checks move name, category, spring summaries, position, movement, and variations. There is also a filter for moves missing default springs so you can clean up incomplete presets.
Spring notation
Reform Cue displays spring summaries as L, M, and H: light, medium, and heavy.
Use custom labels for studio-specific spring names, unusual machines, or setups that are clearer as text than counts.
Move packs and studio moves
Onboarding can install move packs, and pack links can unlock additional packs.
Studio members can choose whether to show shared studio moves alongside their own move library.
